Every Great Movement Begins with One Act of Service. Yeoman Service Club was not born from an ambition to create another organization. It was born from a lifelong commitment to serve.
The journey began in 1991, when our Founder started extending a helping hand to individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds—not through an institution, but through personal conviction. Quietly and consistently, students were supported with educational assistance, career guidance, mentorship, skill development, and encouragement to pursue meaningful employment and self-reliance.
Over the years, these individual efforts transformed lives. Students became professionals. Families found hope. Young people discovered confidence and purpose. These experiences reinforced a simple yet powerful belief: lasting change begins by empowering people to shape their own future.
As the years passed, one question became increasingly important:
How can this journey of service continue beyond one individual and inspire many more to lead with purpose?
The answer became Yeoman Service Club.
Established to transform individual acts of kindness into a collective movement for social good, Yeoman Service Club brings together compassionate citizens, volunteers, professionals, educators, institutions, businesses, and community leaders who believe that service is a shared responsibility.
Today, our mission is driven by three enduring pillars:

Suman Lata is an educationist with a Master’s degree in Science and Education, an accomplished painter, and a dedicated social worker. She believes that education, creativity, and compassion together have the power to transform lives and strengthen communities.
As the Founder & Chairperson of Yeoman Service Club, she provides strategic direction to initiatives in women empowerment, education, community development, and volunteer engagement. Her passion for lifelong learning and social service inspires the organization’s mission of building an inclusive, empowered, and environmentally conscious society.
